Rates are $700 per night with a two night minimum. There are 10 beds and 10 workstations. However, bigger groups can be easily accommodated if needed.

Whether you're a quilter, an artist, or just need a space to create, our new crafting room is the place for you. Gibbon has a variety of local businesses focused around quilting, art, collecting, and creating. Or visit the variety of quilt stores within a 30 minute drive.
With a variety of common areas, seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, there is plenty of space to get away for a quiet moment to relax in our private sleeping quarters or meet up together in our beautiful community spaces.
Let me introduce myself! My name is Amanda. I am a High School Physical Education Teacher, but I have a long history with sewing and this amazing property.
My Aunt Rita taught me how to sew my first quilt in 5th grade, and I was hooked! Her love of quilting led to the opening of this beautiful retreat house.
Years later, her sister and my mother, Colleen, purchased the property and made it her home. She dreamed of it being a place for others to enjoy once again. When Colleen passed away unexpectedly in 2023, we knew we needed to share this space, the story of our family, and our love of sewing with others. Hence, Gallagher’s Retreat!
My husband Trevor and I are excited to host and bring creativity into this amazing historic home and newly invented crafting space. You are going to love to stay here! Every unique room has a touch of Colleen’s creativity, and of course something a little Irish.
We require the individual booking to meet the minimum age stated in each listing (typically 24-25 years old minimum). When booking, you must provide valid ID for verification and complete our online booking process. After your booking is confirmed, you will received an email with confirmation details.
For reservations made directly through our website, our cancellation policy is as follows: 100% refund until 30 days before check-in, 50% refund until 7 days before check in, less than 7 days before check-in is non-refundable. To request a cancellation, simply email us with your reservation number.
Standard check-in time is after 2:00 PM and check-out time is before 11:00 AM. Any early check-in or late check-out is based on occupancy and availability and must be approved in advance.
While we do not typically accommodate pets, we will be under special circumstances, and with prior host approval. We do have a fenced in backyard and ask that all waste is properly disposed of and the noise level of pets are respectful of our neighbors.
Yes! We allow children of all ages and are family friendly. We have a variety of games and activities for children as well as a portable sleeping crib for use if needed.
While we encourage all guests to have a wonderful time and enjoy their stay with us, we do not allow any events or parties that exceed the occupancy limits set forth in each listing.
Not at all! We proudly provide high quality towels and linens. No need to worry about bringing your own.
Yes! We have fast-speed wifi throughout the house and crafting room. A password will be provided upon arrival.
In addition to quality towels and linens, our home also comes stocked with coffee and tea, hand soaps, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and shower soap/shampoo. We have a variety of kitchen items stocked for you to use.
Yes, we have room for up to three vehicles in the driveway as well as on-street free parking. However, in the winter months, vehicles need to be removed from the road if snow needs to be plowed.
Yes! We have Roku Smart TV’s in the Crafter’s Suite, the living room, and a 65″ screen in the crafting room. You can easily hook up a computer for presentations, or log into a streaming service for learning or viewing.
We have a variety of cutting tools available and a dedicated cutting station. We provide two irons as well as a large ironing board. There are small ironing boards at each station. However, you will need to provide your own iron.
We provide 10 6′ x 4′ dedicated workstations with tables that can be moved up or down easily.
There are a small number of items also available for purchase from our local quilt store, Cabby’s Corner.
